NFL Breaking News

New England Patriots have traded DE Chandler Jones to the Arizona Cardinals for G Jonathan Cooper and a 2nd Round Draft Pick in this year’s NFL Draft. Chandler Jones will fill a major need for the Cardinals due to the uncertain future of Dwight Freeney and whether he will re-sign or play elsewhere. The Patriots are hoping that Jonathan Cooper will fulfill the expectations that comes along with a 1st Round Draft Pick. If he does, he should help stabilize the offensive line for the Patriots and help further protect Tom Brady.

The Denver Broncos have matched the offer sheet the Dolphins signed for RB CJ Anderson. With the Broncos matching the offer sheet, it means that CJ Anderson will be a Bronco for the next 4 years. With Peyton Manning retiring, Brock Osweiler going to the Texans, and having no real starting Quarterback, the Broncos could not afford to lose Anderson. John Elway and CJ Anderson both released statements on Twitter confirming the news.
