Miami Dolphins Offseason D-

The Miami Dolphins are a complete mess and have become a laughing stock in the NFL. Their offseason has been disastrous to say the least. They re-signed 2 players, LB James Michael Johnson and G Jacques McClendon, who I believe will not have any type of impact on this team. They lost a number of players I believe made this team, at least defensively, a potential playoff team. They lost CB Brent Grimes, after cutting him, and he ended up signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They lost DE’s Olivier Vernon and Derrick Shelby, both of which I believed made this defense better than expected. Offensively they lost WR Rishard Matthews and RB Lamar Miller. These two offensive players are just coming into their prime years and believe will make huge impacts on their new teams. Then they bring in Mario Williams, who I believe is a waste of money and space, as he has been criticized every where he has played. On top of Williams, they also brought in SS Isa Abdul-Quddus, T Jermon Bushrod, and C Sam Young. None of these moves will make any significant impacts on this year’s team and is unacceptable not only for the team, but for the fans and the city.
